Grats to the ZPS team!

I just read that you guys have been nominated in the Danish Game Awards 2010 for Bullseye in the category of this years danish talent

The other nominated are: · Copenhagen Game Collective for ‘Face Off in the Magic Circle’ (Wii)

· PLAYDEAD for ‘LIMBO’ (platform still unknown)

· Tactile Entertainment for ‘iCreature’ (iPhone)

· Press Play for ‘Max & The Magic Marker’ (Wii)

· Zero Point Software for ‘Bullseye’ (Browser)

Not exactly easy competition and to be honest I think it will be very difficult to compete against none-browser games... especially those that have had a release in the new year (max and the magic marker). Playdead and Limbo also got a lot of buss and fuss...

But great to see you guys nominated in the first ever danish game awards :)

yeah its really damn cool... I hadnt expected that. It is worth noting that this is in a category where a jury of 5 qualified people decided who should get nominated (and win) and not a bunch of random internet people ;)

about time we got some game awards in denmark hehe

edit: heh yeah sorry Stormrider but this isnt really mentioned on any english sites (yet?) and ..well...denmark is small and this is the first year they are doing the awards :P

Hehe, even the fact that they were nominated will raise considerable awareness for the game. :D

I doubt they'll win, but if they do, that will really be amazing.

Not only awareness but it should hopefully also help boost investor interest!

They could win it. As far as I know only bullseye and max and the magic marker are actual releases, the others are in production (but very near completion i think) so that will hopefully increase their chances

They are nominated for best talent... so its more or less the rock stars of tomorrow they are nominating :)

There is one other category where the jury also decides that are called Best Danish Game (where IO's mini ninjas is nominated for example...the latest hitman wasnt in 09 I think :) )

It will grow. Give it some time. Also, yeah, I see that Bullseye is a browser game but think of it as tailored for the ceremony. By the next one, IM will be triple the quality and so will everything else.

Great job Zero Point Software, congratulations on the nomination!

When was this announced? The website doesn't tell the date of their news. It's quite funny actually, I was skimming through their website the other day, and when I didn't see any categories for danish game development, they lost my interest. I was actually hoping to see Zero Point Software on their list, and now I have! :)
