The past six weeks have been some of the most hectic I’ve experienced in my time at Zero Point Software. We’ve been going flat out to have the new community website ready for you guys by today, May 15. There’s been alot of blood sweat and tears to get it online on time, and we’ve had to make some tough decisions along the way.
But looking at it now, I’m really proud of what we have accomplished in so little time. We’ve asked a bunch of die-hard game developers to turn web developers for a period of time, and despite of some initial issues, everyone have really pulled through and delivered well above expectations.
That said, we're far from done with InterstellarMarines.com. The site you see today is just the beginning. Down the line we’ll launch a forum, competitions, polls, a media database, and a lot of other cool stuff that we’re really looking forward to share with you.
We’ve been really excited about the opportunity to start giving something back to the community and to those of you who’ve been tracking Zero Point Software and Interstellar Marines since we released the first trailer back in 2006.
You guys are the reason why we’re still around, and we’re absolutely committed to make InterstellarMarines.com the place for you to find all news about us, the game, and about our approach to create great games – AAA Indie.
We need your help to make this happen, however. Keep coming back for updates and get involved by commenting on articles, giving us feedback, or enlist as a marine. We can’t pull this off without you!
FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME
