Windfeld: YOU DID NOT POST THE RESULTS FROM THE CHRISTMAS TOURNAMENT! and with fuucking Trophies. Where did you find time to do them. you can print your own "Resignation" tomorrow or this evening if you are still at work!!! :-)
and BOKAJA stop laughing!!!
iToby:

ZPSHicks - the only thing i can say about what you are saying is the famous word, LoL.
Would be nice too when you actually show some gameplay footage, that you show yourself play, like in one big line talking and swearing and stuff.. Really funny and intresting to see :)
BTW Good luck once again ^^
Windfeld:

Thank god the printer doesn't work :D

Damn, here i was sitting in Denmark thinking that Danes couldn't do a proper video game (after the ill received Kane & Lynch) and up pops this awesome cool idea and passionate group of people..
Makes me almost want to cry!
When i get paid im definately gonna donate!
Keep up the good work!
iToby:

A_Shepard -Sorry, but you do know it was the danes who made the hitman series? They weren´t bad games at all.
1Williem1:

Nice:))).. cant wait for this game.. I am looking for info of THE IM every day..
Suduki:

Can't wait for more information :) I am getting more and more hyped for this game (Even just by looking at you guys/gals).
A_Shepard:
Yup IO interactive, yup... i wrote a school assignment about hitman ;)
I'm weird i know.
My point is, that even though the Hitman series was great, it had become abit stale i mean rehashing the same gameplay over and over... of course its nice but still...

With this article, I realized that a lot of the head guys post all over these comments sections, which is really really awesome.

Haha, so nice to finally see the team, and I'm hoping to hear more from you guys in the future.
You definately got an awesome team. :D

Heya guys. Nice to meet you all. On a side note - now that I have seen you all I know my money is well spend. I knew Kim aka Hicks was a mad toon, by the looks of it he has found equal minded people... and I mean that in a good way - no, really I do :P
...now let’s get a bigger picture of Boss Lady holding that Marine so we can get a real impression of its total awesomeness ;)
...oh and Kim and Nicolai, I’m kinda disappointed... All hail Jacob and Daniel - the gods of IM :D

Thanks guys for being brave enough to post your pictures here, lol! As corny as it sounds seeing the whole group together somehow makes the project more real to me now, like this is really going to happen! Plus as Tacticalspoon mentioned above, we have read many comments from you guys since the new site went live so its great to be able to put a face to the comments!
Scratchliquid - You have probably heard this a thousand times already but that AAA Indie video about the "Titan Walker" is simply awesome! To see the little RC version in the office is cool but to follow you outside to see the full-size rig is sick (of course I realize its not real but still its great stuff)! Keep up the great work guys!
Zodiark:

It looks very good. Being able to see the ones doing all the hard work for us is just great. It makes the project more alive somehow.
And Sune Kempf; Maybe you like cake, but you do know its a lie, right? ;D
Also, here in the end of this comment: Thanks for making this "Meet The Team" page, because now I was finally able to add proper credits on the Interstella Marines page on FPSBanana.
If you want to take a look at the game's page, then go here: http://www.fpsbanana.com/games/1950

Its nice to see some faces, adds a lot of credability :) Its also sweet to see that you guys post a lot of comments, instead of being holy about everything :)

@ Tacticalspoon
Kartracing is in real life. Each year we go to a big out door gokart track and compete in a kind of small gokart LeMans. :)
@ Soulglow
Bokaja is the type of joker, you can talk to seriously and suddenly he turns angry a shouts "AHHH... SO SHUT THE FUUCK UP!" and then he laughs HAAA HAHA. :)

MATT51723:

Oh crap
No understando!
ZPSHicks:
@ All Danes
Lets keep the commenting in English, we literally got Marines from all over the world.
Do not worry, we will spread the Viking language in other ways! :)
Kosai106:
@ ZPSHicks:
making the community we got here English only (Or at least somewhat) seems like a pretty good idea 'cause as you say yourself, people from all over the globe comes here to look at your great project. :P
Also, what about adding a quote button and a edit post button to the forum? It would make things a little easier. ;)
Good luck people, its nice to see progress!
WombatHammer:
Yeah English would make reading all the threads easier, the Viking language looks great but as I’m an Australian I sure can’t read it :)
It would be interesting to know how many countries we have represented on these boards now and also it would be interesting to know how the sign ups are going and if they are in line with your projections/hopes.
gert:
@WombatHammer - greetings Down Under!
You may well be the first SH from Aus, but we are genuinely getting Marines from all over.
The initial spat (24-48hrs) was obviously friends and family signing up, as they had been first hand witnesses to closet-travails over the last 5 years - but since then there has been as steady trickle, as we are "discovered" (we have to rely on viral-marketing and at the moment, it is difficult to get through because of the Publishers publicity machines linked to E3)
The expectation attached to our "coming out" on the 15th were obviously high but strongly tempered by the fact, that we were not allowed to show in-game material (which we are now working ferverishly on - transfering assests into a different (Unity) Engine, in order to show what we have in mind - and to test this as an alternative going forward
Hence - if you like what you see/hear - spread the word and stay posted - just wait to you see "the Vault" unfold from 26th of June onwards!

@Siepher
Oh snap XD Hitman was awesome, Haven't tried Freedom Fighters and Kane Lynch got an gamespot employee fired ;p ;) However i do want to try Kane Lynch despite the reviews!
@ZPSHicks
Danes? I'm Norwegian! ;D
Siepher:

@ ZPSHicks
I got carried away. :D
@ weirdoo
If you wanna try it out, I recommend renting it instead of buying it mate.
forgefire:
i highly recommend freedom fighters... great game. Graphics may be a bit old for to-days standards however
Looking forward to seeing some in-game material - also nice of you to use unity which is also based in denmark hehe :)
Beetlejooz:
Freedom fighters had some great physics for what time it was in. Keep it up ZeroPoint you guys inspire us game design students!
weirdoo:
@ Siepher
None of my friends have it (i think) and renting from stores is plain dead here. Only thing that rents out here is movies.
weirdoo:
@ forgefire
@ Beetlejooz
I really want to play, it did come out for the pre-gen xbox right?
Tacticalspoon:
@ weirdoo:
It's on PC, PS2 and gamecube as well. There's a demo floating around, but a quick google search didn't turn anything up for the full version on a digital download service. It seems copies are as low as $4 USD on ebay, so if you like the demo it might be worth a buy instead of a rent.
Ghost1800:
Wait, wait, wait... we're talking about the game where you start off as some plumber in NYC during a soviet invasion right? That game was actually pretty good. Not great, but definitely worth a play through and maybe a bit of fighting amongst friends in multi-player ("Go my minions! Go into the line of fire of that sniper so I can sneak up behind him!")
Kosai106:
What about keeping the the talk more on-topic people?
I know that there isn't much to talk about except the team here, but you get the idea. ;)
weirdoo:
@ Tacticalspoon
That's rocking, gonna do a little googling tomorrow then (2 hours from midnight here) thanks for the tip! :D
Ghost1800:
lol, sorry about that, I guess we just desperately need a forum with an off-topic section XD
JoOngle:
Yep, we do need a social forum with different topics. ;)
But if there's no time to set up a forum, it's more important to focus on the game-development anyway ;)
heks:
Don't worry guys (and gals?:), we're currently working hard on improving the website in various ways and are well aware of the need for a forum - including room for off-topic discussions!
As JoOngle hints at, we are first and foremost a gamedev studio so we're trying to fit all this into the schedules as best to our abilities and within the constraints that we have. Rest assured we're definitively adding alot of cool new stuff within the coming weeks and months!
Koder-politiet salutes you!

Someone on the IM team actually worked on Freedom Fighters - can you guess who?
:)
coreone:

hmm...someone worked on freedom fighters...i will guess one of the bald guys?? :P
thib:

Pardon me for being a bit off-topic, I thought this note might be useful for some people here.
As, and until the forums arrive, the articles comments are the only way of communicating, I often find myself rebrowsing all the articles to see if there's something new, because I wouldn't want to miss something (yea, I know). My laziness ordered me to find a snitch to keep me up to date, and the good geek I am found that a little script would do the trick. Don't worry ZPS, it's supposed to be as light as possible, but people if you want to use it, please read the README file.
http://brezo.free.fr/im-snitch-0.1.zip
BTW
, if you're afraid of PHP (_don't_ ask), pass along. It's intended to be used in a shell (/console). Here's how it looks like:

Is it you? (:
ZPSHicks:

@ Weirdoo
Nope, it is actually Mr. Windfeld our Senior Level Designer from hell! :)
Kosai106:
@ ZPSHicks:
Pretty awesome to have a guy with you who has already been working on a big game project, isn't it? :)
Not that I don't think you all can do just as good.. (Or better) You hopefully get the idea.
Anyway; I got 2 questions for you guys at ZPS.
1st. Have anyone else on the team been working on any titles which has been shipped?
2nd. Do you ever look at some of the resumés sent to your email? *wink wink* :P
heks:
Actually most people on the team have previously shipped games with other game studios, so it's a pretty skilled team by any standards.
The ones who haven't, have alot of experience from other industries that translates well into the game development processes, for example from the animations and music industry. Also, it's not only on the production-side that there's alot of experience, it goes all the way up to the board level. :)
I would estimate the combined game-dev experience to be quite high for a team of our size.
@Kosai106: I'm sure we do. I'll make sure to poke the relevant people which might spawn an actual reply! ;)
weirdoo:
@ ZPSHicks
cool :D why does he hold "Senior Level Designer" ? what's the difference between regular and this? :\
Kosai106:
@Heks: Thanks, that'll be lovely. Haha.
And nice to see that you're all very experienced in what you do.
Now we're all sure that you can get the job done for good.
Russ:
If I can only contribute small amounts at a time can i build up to spearhead status?
thib:
Just becoming a Spearhead is of big help, and in fact all you're asked to do is to enjoy what you'll see. I guess.
njeon:
WUAHAHAHA!!!
I laughed so hard, I got a headache.
forgefire:
@Russ
to become a spearhead you have to upgrade your account (=pay money) This will will fund developlemt of the game and give you access to all kind of fun stuff...for example playable releases of the game (not quite there yet..)
If for some reason you cant donate it helps a lot if you just remain an active member of the community and help spread the word about the game and the site :)

@weirdoo:
Tip: You can borrow "Kane and Lynch" from your local library for free. If they don't have it, they can get it for you from one of the other public libraries in DK. =o)
(I should know - I work in one of them) ^_^

I'm glad to see the few bucks I helped out with resulted in all these sexy pictures of the team.
MunK - you got a pretty mouth boy! :)
(PS: By the way am I the only one who finds it kinda annoying that you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page to watch the newest comments? :S Mayby it's just me.)
weirdoo:
3 years, 11 months ago
@Grindhammer
hehe, i live in Norway, and libraries here don't sell "too violent games for kids" doesn't matter where you go, no libraries here sell them there ;) so if any of you come to Norway, enter a librarian and you see a VERY violent game for rent, wait for the full moon and see if it's turn red, then the apocalypse is here! D:
